Tesla shares notch biggest one-day gain
Tesla shares have notched their biggest one-day gain in more than 10 years, rising nearly 22 percent after Chief Executive Elon Musk reassured investors about the growth outlook. The company's latest earnings report also eased some investor jitters. The stock's gains added nearly US$150 billion to the company's market cap.
Property curbs could come back, if needed
Financial Secretary Paul Chan says the government has not ruled out re-introducing property market cooling measures if necessary. He was speaking in a radio phone-in programme on his budget, a day after announcing the so-called 'spicy measures' would be dropped with immediate affect given the current market situation.
